TOPGUARD® fungicide means top-to-bottom protection against soybean rust!
When soybean rust hits, you want a fungicide that cures and prevents the disease. With curative and preventative activity, plus a host of other advantages, TOPGUARD® has everything you need in a soybean rust fungicide. That means...
The bottom line is this: TOPGUARD® is an extremely effective fungicide for controlling and preventing soybean rust from the top of the plant to the bottom. Its dual-action approach protects yields both before and at the onset of infection. TOPGUARD® works. And works hard.
In years of field use, flutriafol, the active ingredient in TOPGUARD®, has never shown any type of negative crop response to soybeans. TOPGUARD® is one of the most selective fungicides available for soybean rust, regardless of soybean cultivar. So you can apply TOPGUARD® with the confidence that it protects, not harms, your crop.
TOPGUARD® moves rapidly throughout the plant to provide protection to the soybean leaves. And the more systemic activity a fungicide has the more plant tissue it protects.
TOPGUARD® has one of the longest residuals of any soybean rust fungicide available. Most experts say that to obtain effective control, the first fungicide application is critical. The residual characteristics of TOPGUARD® make it the ideal choice for that first application.
Add rainfastness and tank-mix compatibility with other fungicides, (if desired) and you'll see that TOPGUARD® means top-to-bottom rust protection.
TOPGUARD® can be applied either aerially or by ground. Ground applications should be made with at least 10 gallons, and aerial applications with at least 5 gallons of water per acre to enhance canopy penetration. Always choose nozzles and pressures that produce a medium-sized spray droplet.
The labeled use rate for TOPGUARD® is 7-ounces per acre. Up to two applications of TOPGUARD® can be made per season.
